Biographical Sketch:
Bong-Geun An is
a Professor of the Department of Management, KeiMyung University, DaeGu, Korea. He received his Ph.D. and MBA degrees
from Washington State University, and his B.S. degree in Engineering from Seoul
National University. His research
interests are in the area of operations management; especially inventory
control, Taguchi’s method of process control, time series modeling and
forecasting. His work has been
published in such journals as Naval Research Logistics, Korean Management
Science Review, Journal of the Korean Operations Research and Management
Science Society, Research Institute for Industrial Management (Korea), Korean
Journal of Production and Operations Management, and others.
Min-Chiang Wang is a Professor of the Department of Management and Decision Sciences, Washington State University. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees
in Statistics from University of Wisconsin – Madison, and his B.A. in
Accounting from the National Chengchi University, Taiwan. His research interests include:
statistical process control and improvement, quality management, inventory
control and modeling, multivariate statistical analysis, time series
analysis. His work has been
published in such journals as Biometrika, Communications in Statistics,
Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, European Journal of Operational
Research, International Journal of Management Theory and Practices,
International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of System
Science, Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, Journal of
Statistical Planning and Inference, Naval Research Logistics, and others.
